Pixelpost v1.7.1

Pixelpost

Meet Pixelpost, a small photoblog application that is easy to setup and use. It's perfect for anyone wishing to regularly post their photos on the web like a blog.

Unlike other blog engines out there, Pixelpost doesn't try to solve all of the worlds problems. Pixelpost simply does photoblogs, and it does them well. If you are looking for a full blown CMS or text-blog, Pixelpost isn't for you. But if you want something simple, and designed from the ground up for photobloggers, like yourself, you've found the perfect application.

* This script is supported by Doteasy.com Ultra and Unlimited hosting packages.
Coppermine Photo Gallery is an advanced, user-friendly, picture gallery script with built-in support for other multi-media/data files. The gallery can be private, accessible to registered users only, and/or open to all visitors to your site. Users, if permitted, can upload pictures with their web browser (thumbnail and intermediate sized images are created on the fly), rate pictures, add comments and even send e-cards. The site administrator determines which of the features listed above are accessible by registered and non-registered users. The site administrator can also manage galleries and batch process large numbers of pictures that have been uploaded onto the server by FTP.

Begin Installing - Run the install script on your server (by going to http://www.yourdomain.com/gallery/install with your web browser) and follow the on screen instructions.

Welcome Page

Authenticate - You will be asked to create and save a small text file in order to authenticate. You may not proceed until you do this. That’s how Gallery 2 knows that you’re authorized to use the installer.

Authenticate

System Checks - The installer checks your system to make sure that it will support Gallery 2. Make sure that all checks are successful!

System Check

Installation Type - Gallery can support multiple independent sites with a single installation of the code. Here you will select a standard single install or the location of a new multisite install. There is more information about multisite in the Gallery Codex.

Installation Type

Storage Setup - Read the instructions on the installer to set up a storage location for Gallery 2. This is where Gallery 2 will store all of your images, as well as other cache information.

Storage Setup

Database Setup - Fill in the necessary information in the following fields (For this step, we are assuming that you have already created and set up your MySQL database. If you have not done this yet, please click here to see the MySQL creation tutorial.)

Admin User Setup - You are prompted for an administrator username and password. Type in a password and type it again to validate it. The full name and the email address are optional. But entering an email address is highly recommended. Once you’re finished, click ’Create’ to create the admin user for this installation of Gallery 2.

Admin User Setup

Create Config File - Gallery 2 will create the config.php file in your Gallery 2 directory. This contains all the answers you’ve provided in the installer and is necessary for Gallery 2 to function properly. At this point, there’s also a sanity check to prevent you from damaging your Gallery install by running the installer when you should rather have started the upgrader.

Create Config file

Install the Core module - Here’s where we create all the database tables and initial users and albums to get you started. Unless something goes wrong, there’s nothing for you to do here.

Install Core Module

Install other modules - Gallery 2 has lots of different modules that provide useful functionality. Choose which ones you want to use. You can always go to the Site Admin page later on to install, activate, deactivate or uninstall modules, so it’s ok to experiment here.

Install other modules

Check Security - Gallery 2 walks you through the process of locking down your new config.php.

Drupal 6.12 CMS

Drupal 6.12

Drupal

Drupal is a free software package that allows an individual or a community of users to easily publish, manage and organize a wide variety of content on a website. Tens of thousands of people and organizations are using Drupal to power scores of different web sites, including

* Community web portals
* Discussion sites
* Corporate web sites
* Intranet applications
* Personal web sites or blogs
* Aficionado sites
* E-commerce applications
* Resource directories
* Social Networking sites

Drupal is ready to go from the moment you download it. It even has an easy-to-use web installer! The built-in functionality, combined with dozens of freely available add-on modules, will enable features such as:

* Content Management Systems
* Blogs
* Collaborative authoring environments
* Forums
* Peer-to-peer networking
* Newsletters
* Podcasting
* Picture galleries
* File uploads and downloads

and much more.

* This script is supported by Doteasy.com Ultra and Unlimited hosting packages.

To login into the demo, use the following login information:
Username: demo
Password: passwordDrupal 6.12 Installation Tutorial:

Download the current version from the Drupal Official Website here.

Uncompress the tar.gz file using WinZip or WinRAR or 7-zip to a temporary directory in your local computer.

You can create a folder called "drupal" in the "/var/www/html/" directory. Then you can upload the Drupal files to the web server using a FTP client. For FTP upload instructions, please click here.

For this example, Drupal will be uploaded to /var/www/html/drupal/ directory and the website address will be http://www.yourdomain.com/drupal/index.php

## FTP upload

Grant write permissions on configuration file - Drupal comes with a default.settings.php file in the sites/default directory. Before running the installer you need to make a copy of this file, in sites/default, naming it "settings.php." (NOTE: do not rename the default file, copy it instead. Drupal needs the default.settings.php file to exist.) You should have both a default.settings.php and settings.php file in your sites/default directory. Drupal's installer will modify the settings.php file as needed with the details you provide during the installation process.

After creating the new file you must insure that it is writable. You can assign write permissions to it:

chmod 755 sites/default/settings.php

Drupal should set the file permissions back to read-only once the installation is done. You should make sure this is the case and manually change it yourself if it didn't happen.

Begin Installing - Run the install script on your server (by going to http://www.yourdomain.com/drupal/ with your web browser) and follow the on screen instructions.

Installer

*Note

If your site is not configured for clean url's you can troubleshoot this later. The Update notifications box will check for later versions of Drupal and contributed modules. If you are without or have restricted Internet connectivity you may want to uncheck this for now and test and enable it later.

On success, you will see the Drupal installation complete screen. If there are any error message, review and correct them now.

The install script will attempt to create a files storage directory in the default location at sites/default/files (the location of the files directory may be changed after Drupal is installed). In some cases, you may need to create the directory and modify its permissions manually.

chmod 775 sites/default/files

3.3. If you want to use the SkinFiles plugin to edit files, you'll need to change the permissions on all files and directories under the /skins/ directory. To be able to edit files, they should be chmodded to 666. To be able to create new files or directories, the parent directory should be chmodded to 777.

HiQFormMail 2.0 (Form Mail Script)

HiQFormMail 2.0

HiQ Formmail is a form handler which has the ability to email attachments. Since the script is configured using config file(s) there are no required form fields. There are a limited number of form fields which can in some limited cases, be used to override configuration file entries.

Original Features:
Multiple attachments, Limit types of attachments allowed, Block attachments by extension, Multiple recipients and Bcc(s), Auto responder, Custom header/footers for output, redirect and more.

Version 2.0 - many new features added.
Ability to select a subset of the defined recipients
Choose column or row display for multiple entry fields.
Enhanced ability to block attachment of files by defining VALID extensions only.
Tightening of code & either a fix possible problems or remove the feature.

*This script is supported by Doteasy.com Ultra and Unlimited hosting packages.

Installation of HiQ Formmail Installation Tutorial:

Download the current zip file here
.

Uncompress the zip file using WinZip or WinRAR to a temporary directory in your local computer.

Naturally enough you will need to create a form on your website which passes the required information on to HiQ Formmail. If unsure how to create a form, you could try utilizing a product such as NVU which is a simple to use, free open source WYSIWYG html editor as it includes an easy to use form creation facility. Regardless of this issue, HiQ Formmail includes a test form in the zip file so you can test HiQ’s functionality whether you have created your form yet or not.

When creating your own form, note that the Action needs to point to the HiQ Formmail file, HiQFM.php.

For Example:

<form enctype="multipart/form-data" method="post" action="/formmail/HiQFM.php" name="formname">

Click Image To Enlarge

create a folder below your HiQ folder for the temporary files HIQ creates. This folder must be called “TEMP_FILES” – note the capitals and underscore and make sure your folder is called exactly this.

Click Image To Enlarge

Using notepad, notetab or your preferred text editor, edit the configuration file, HiQFMConfig.conf. To start with, make only the one change. Change the [recipient] value to be your email address. Save the change and exit your editor.

Click Image To Enlarge

Next step is put all of this online. You will need to create the HiQ folders(directories) on your server and will need to upload all of the HiQ files to the appropriate directory on the server.

For Example:
/var/www/html/formmail/

The URL to the HiQFormMail will be: http://www.yourdomain.com/formmail/

Click Image To Enlarge

To test simply go to the supplied test page ie. http://www.yourdomain.com/formmail/test.htm. To keep things simple initially, do not change any of the values on the form, simply submit it and see if it your submission is successful and a result gets to your email.

Once you have proved the basics are working you can then go on to test with your own form(s). The one copy of HiQ Formmail will work for multiple forms if both forms have the same required fields.

You may of course customize the various header and footer files er_header_def.htm er_footer_def.htm header_def.htm footer_def.htm to match in with the rest of your website.
